Christ is Alive

Christ is alive! Christ is alive — He lives!
These words are not just a beautiful phrase; they are a powerful proclamation, a truth that transforms lives and renews hearts. Christ is not someone from the past — He is alive today, walking with us and present among His people.

These words remind us of God’s living Word. As Scripture says:

“Be holy, because I am holy” (1 Peter 1:16).

This call is personal and powerful. God is not calling us to an ordinary life — He is calling us to a life full of purpose. A life that reflects His love in everything we do. Holiness is not just for a few; it is for all of us. It begins in the everyday moments — in how we love, forgive, and serve.

We also remember the words of Jesus:

“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve” (Mark 10:45).

Christ came to serve, to give Himself completely out of love. And that same call is for us. We are called to love without limits, to give generously, and to step out of ourselves to serve others. That is where true evangelization begins. All these words and Scriptures remind us of our mission:

to evangelize, to be holy, and to form disciples.

Today, with great joy, I share something I have also shared with our young adults:

Our goal is clear — to form disciples. Disciples who live their faith with passion, who are not afraid, who become living witnesses of Christ’s love in the world. And the most beautiful part is that we are already seeing the fruits. During the Easter Triduum, it was a tremendous blessing to see so many young adults serving with joy and generosity. Their lives are a testimony that Christ is alive. They are not serving out of obligation, but out of love — and that love transforms. We have also experienced a great blessing through our first bilingual Lenten retreat at St. Vincent de Paul Parish. It was a moment of grace, unity, and encounter with God. We saw how the Holy Spirit is moving, touching hearts, and renewing lives. And we continue moving forward with hope. We are now preparing our Multicultural Festival on June 13, and everyone is invited. It will be a beautiful celebration where, as one Body in Christ, we come together to celebrate our cultures, our faith, and our unity. But in the midst of all this joy, an important question arises: Is Christ alive?
Is Christ alive in our hearts?
Does Christ reign in our lives?
Does Christ know our story?
Does He know our name? The answer is yes. Christ is alive.

And not only is He alive… He knows you, He loves you, and He calls you by name. He knows your story, your struggles, your joys. And still, He calls you to something greater.

Today, Christ wants to reign in your heart. He wants to transform your life and send you out as a disciple.

The invitation is clear: open your heart, respond to the call, live as a disciple.

Because Christ is alive… And when Christ lives in us, everything changes.
