The first blood drive of the new year is on Wednesday, January 28 from 12 to 5:30pm in the Hoying Gym at Sacred Heart School. Did you know each time SHS hosts a blood drive and meets their quota for donated units for the event; the school receives money for a scholarship for graduating seniors? In the last two years alone, 3 graduating seniors have received scholarships because YOU have signed up to give the gift of life in the form of a blood donation. EVERY unit of donated blood counts, not just for those receiving the blood, but also for our school’s graduating seniors. For additional details contact the school office at 660-827-3800.
