Eat, Drink and Be Healthy! Here are 6 tips for a healthy holiday!

  • Limit alcoholic beverages. Alcohol lowers your inhibitions and may cause to eat more.
  • Encourage active holiday events. Plan parties around caroling, holiday card making, walks to look at holiday decorations.
  • Your gift shopping trips can help burn calories. Park further away or do a couple of laps around the mall
  • Exercise. Find a block of 30 minutes for aerobic exercise.
  • Find something to laugh about!
  • Cut the fat and sugar. Make holiday recipes lighter by cutting fat or sugar.
