Cheer for LIFE!

Monday, June 24th will mark the second anniversary of the Dobbs Decision which overturned Roe v. Wade returning legal decisions on abortion to the states and their elected representatives. The Missouri state statute, “Right to Life of the Unborn Child Act” of 2018 prohibiting abortion except to save the life of the mother went into effect that same day.

Cheer for Life is the theme for the commemorative event marking the June 24, 2022 decision. Community leaders and pastors will lead us in prayer and song as the sanctity of all life from the womb to the tomb is celebrated. The keynote speaker will be Michell A. Blackwell, an adoptee, and adoptive mother who has been a trauma and ICU nurse and is now working as a Hospice nurse. She and her husband are founders of Hearts Intertwined Ministries.

See you on June 24, at NOON, at the Pettis County Courthouse. Let us give thanks and praise, and CHEER FOR LIFE.
