Immunizations – Is your preteen or teenage child up to date as school starts? Although your preteen or teenager is getting older and more independent, they are still dependent on you for health decisions. Help them stay healthy by keeping them up to date with the recommended vaccines.

Preteens (11-12):

  • Human papillomavirus (HPV)
  • Influenza (Flu)
  • Meningococcal disease (MenACWY)
  • Tetanus, diphtheria, and whooping cough (pertussis) (Tdap)

Teenagers (13-18):

  • Influenza (Flu)
  • Meningococcal disease (MenACWY)
  • Meningococcal disease (MenB)

Also the annual flu shot should be given.
