Dr. Mark Register to retire
Today I would like to let you, our wonderful parish community, know that I will be retiring at the end of the school year. My last day of service as President of Sacred Heart School will be June 30, 2023.
It would be impossible to adequately express what serving the families of the Sedalia Catholic community has meant to me over these 33+ wonderful years. I consider myself one of those lucky few who found what they were meant to do and was given the opportunity to be of some value and service over the course of a career.
I love my parish and I love our parish school. It is my intention to continue to contribute time, talent and treasure to the St. Vincent de Paul and its mission Sacred Heart School, for as long as the good Lord sees fit. As always, it will be my continued prayer that the Lord bless all of those affiliated with Sacred Heart School. My wife Julie and I feel blessed that we were able to raise and educate our children at Sacred Heart. We now look forward to the same wonderful opportunity of the Sacred Heart experience for our grandchildren in the years to come.
Again, thanks to each of you for allowing me to be a part in your lives and the lives of your wonderful, delightful children. It has been an honor and a pleasure to work in God’s vineyard with you and I look forward to a fantastic remainder of this school year!
With the Utmost Respect,
Dr. Mark Register (SHS Class of ‘75)
President
