St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Sedalia, Missouri is seeking a Finance Manager to provide advanced bookkeeping and accounting work for both the parish and school, including but not limited to check writing, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, banking and cash receipts. The Finance Manager will review and analyze detailed financial records and prepare various reports with budget variances for the pastor and finance council. This individual will also be responsible for all payroll processes including onboarding of new employees, ensuring the accuracy of timekeeping records, management of time off accounts, computing wages, and ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration is required. An emphasis in non-profit work is desired. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required with a preference for 3 years’ experience working with financial accounting and payroll systems.
